A user subscribes to receive Push Notifications from a Publisher's website. Once subscribed, they will receive a push notification ad containing an icon, creative, title, and a short description. Tapping on a notification redirects the user to the advertising campaign. Users can easily manage their subscriptions by unsubscribing at any time through their browser settings.
Where can I get the Push Notifications code?
Ready to place your video push notifications and start earning some $$$? Here’s where you can find it.
First, ensure that you have at least one website accepted by Clickadu. If you haven't added a website yet, refer to the section on starting with Clickadu and add your first website for moderation.
If you already have an approved website with us, obtaining your push notifications code is very simple:
1. Go to the ‘Sites and Zones’ section of your Publisher SSP.
2. Once you’re there, choose the website you want to get the code for.
3. Select the ‘Create Zone’ tab.
4. Choose ‘Push Notifications’ as your desired ad format.
5. Now you can select your ad feed (adult content containing explicit ads or main content without), choose your website protocol, and customize the zone name (if needed)
6. If you want to use HTTP push notifications, click ‘Create’, get the code and implement it on your website. You are all set!
7. If you want to use HTTPS push notifications, in addition to the code, you will receive an sw.js file that needs to be placed in the root directory of your website.
Once you have created this code, you can always get it in the ‘Sites and Zones’ section.
On the right side of the screen, you will find the 'Actions' section, which offers three options: ‘go to stats’, ‘get code’ and ‘archive the zone’. Click on the ‘get code’ symbol (2nd symbol).
