In this section, you will find information about the banner ad format, including how to get it, customize it, and where to place it.

Where can I get the banner code?

Ready to place your banner codes and start earning some $$$? Here’s where you can find it.

First, ensure that you have at least one website accepted by Clickadu. If you haven't added a website yet, refer to the section on starting with Clickadu and add your first website for moderation.

If you already have an approved website with us, obtaining your banner code is very simple:

1. Go to the ‘Sites and Zones’ section of your Publisher SSP.

2. Once you’re there, choose the website you want to get the code for.

3. Select the ‘Create Zone’ tab.

4. Choose ‘Banner’ as your desired ad format.

5. Now you can select your ad feed (adult content containing explicit ads or main content without), choose your banner size, and customize the zone name.

6. After completing the steps, click "Create." You will be redirected to the ‘Sites and Zones’ section and see a pop-up window with the banner code.

7. Copy the code to your clipboard and integrate it into your website's structure. You're all set!

Once you have created this code, you can always get it in the ‘Sites and Zones’ section.

On the right side of the screen, you will find the 'Actions' section, which offers three options: ‘go to stats’, ‘get code’ and ‘archive the zone’. Click on the ‘get code’ symbol (2nd symbol).

If you are having troubles creating what you want, contact your personal manager for assistance.

Banner Monetization Guide

Here's a simple guide to help you make the most out of banner ads on Clickadu:

1. Can I put many banners on one page?

  • Yes, but it’s better to create a separate zone for each banner. Combining them makes it difficult to track the performance of each one individually.

2. Where should I place banners to maximize earnings?

  • The best spots for banners are where people can easily see them without getting annoyed. Examples include:

    • At the top of your page, above the main content.

    • Alongside or within your content, where they fit naturally.

    • Below videos or within video players, where people's attention is focused.

It is important to choose the spot well, otherwise advertisers might not pay high prices for such views.

Ensure the banner code is linked to a specific area (div class/id) of your website; otherwise, it will not display.

Correct example

The banner code is linked to div id

3. What sizes and types of banners can I use?

  • You can choose from two sizes:

    • 300x250 (rectangle)

    • 300x100 (long rectangle)

  • These work well on both computers and phones.

4. How do I know if my banners are making money?

  • By going to the ‘Statistics’ section, you can check how many times people see your banners, how many clicks are on them, and how much money you're making in your Clickadu account.

5. What kind of content can I put banners on?

  • Don't put banners on anything illegal, misleading, or adult-oriented. Focus on content that is safe and truthful to avoid getting in trouble.

6. What if I need help with my banners?

  • If you're stuck or have questions, just reach out to our support team or your account manager. They're here to help you out.

Clickadu counts impressions for actual banner views and clicks for the number of times users clicked on the banner. In your statistics, you'll find the CTR (Click-Through Rate), which indicates the percentage of users who clicked on banners relative to the number of views. A higher CTR signifies better performance!

By following these tips and using Clickadu's banner ads wisely, you can earn more money from your website without annoying your visitors.
