Many popular web browsers allow users to subscribe to Push Notifications from websites. Websites may ask a user to subscribe to their Push Notifications via a prompt that looks like this on Desktop:

If the user clicks ‘Allow’, the site may send them a push notification at any time, even when the website isn’t open in the browser. This functionality is available on both desktop and mobile platforms in Chrome, Samsung Browser, and some other browsers.
