The API integration between Voluum and Clickadu creates a strong connection between the two platforms. It allows you to fully manage your Clickadu campaigns directly in Voluum and also benefit from Voluum's extensive reporting and optimization features. The article below provides detailed steps for integration, setup, and managing integrated campaigns.

The full API integration offers you with the following advantages:

  • Synchronize costs for campaigns and zones;

  • Monitor the status of your campaigns;

  • Pause and restart campaigns and zones.

Before proceeding with the integration, please ensure that you have the following:

  • An active Voluum account;

  • An active Clickadu account;

  • A Clickadu API key, available in the API section of your Clickadu account.

I. Integration process

  1. In Voluum, go to the ‘Automizer’ module;

  2. Select the ‘Traffic sources’ tab;

  3. Click the ‘Add traffic source’ button;

  4. Click the ‘Add integration’ button under Clickadu;

  5. Paste the API key you copied from Clickadu in the ‘API token’ text field;

  6. (Optional) Decide if you want to see cost estimations for periods between data synchronizations. These estimates are based on the last 24 hours of data and will be updated with actual costs after synchronization;

  7. (Optional) Decide if you want to enable automatic campaign matching. If disabled, you will have to manually match campaigns using the Integration Manager.

  8. Click the ‘Integrate’ button.

II. Managing Integrated Campaigns

Integrated campaigns are marked with the icon. To use the integration, ensure the following columns are visible by clicking the button and selecting the following boxes:

  • Status;

  • Bid;

  • Actions.

Any changes made in Voluum will immediately reflect in Clickadu. With integrated campaigns, you can:

  1. Check the status of your integrated campaigns in the ‘Status’ column;

  2. Pause or restart an entire integrated campaign in the ‘Campaigns’ view (under the ‘Actions’ column); pause a running campaign by clicking the button;

    Restart a paused campaign by clicking the button.

  3. Pause or restart a single custom variable within an integrated campaign. To do this, create a specific campaign report and group the data by the desired custom variable. Once grouped, you can take action in the ‘Actions’ column:

    Pause a running variable by clicking the button next to the given table row;

    Restart a paused variable by clicking the button next to the given table row
